Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how OPDADA Korea Guide ("we", "us", "the site"), available at korea.opdada.com, handles information when you visit. OPDADA Korea Guide is an informational travel-guide site operated as part of OPDADA (opdada.com). We keep this simple because we collect very little.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and there are no sign-up, login, or contact forms on this site. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or other personal information that identifies you. We do not sell or rent any data.
2. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, how many people view a page and which pages are popular). It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not build individual profiles. The data is anonymous and aggregated.
3. Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Google AdSense serves the ads you see on these pages, and third-party vendors — including Google — use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Some pages also include content or links from other third parties that may set their own cookies when you interact with them:
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense): Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. - Music player (YouTube): An optional music feature embeds YouTube. If you open and use it, Google/YouTube may set cookies as described in their own privacy policy. It does not load until you interact with it.
- Affiliate links: When you click a booking or shopping link (see below), the partner may set a cookie to attribute a resulting booking. This does not identify you to us.
4. Affiliate links
This site currently carries no affiliate links. Outbound links to booking sites, shops and official pages are ordinary links: we earn nothing if you use them, and they are chosen only because they are useful.
If we add affiliate links in future, we will say so here, mark each link as sponsored where it appears, and update this policy. Any commission would come from the merchant and would never change the price you pay or what we recommend.
5. Third-party services
The third parties whose services may process data when you use this site include:
- Cloudflare — hosting and privacy-first analytics.
- Google AdSense — advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies to personalise the ads shown on this site.
- Google / YouTube — only if you use the optional embedded music player.
- OPDADA (opdada.com) APIs — some tools and the blog load their data from our parent site's servers. Those requests carry only the values needed for the lookup (for example a search term or a region code), never your name or contact details.
- Exchange-rate tool: currency data is fetched directly from third-party providers (open.er-api.com, frankfurter.dev); only currency codes are sent, though your IP address is visible to those services.
Each of these has its own privacy policy governing any data it collects.
6. Your choices
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can choose not to interact with the optional music player. You can review and adjust Google's ad and data settings at Google My Ad Center.
7. Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and post the updated version here.
