Music that survives your next click
Most embedded players die the instant you open another page. This one is meant to be parked in its own window while you keep reading β a neighbourhood guide, a subway map, a restaurant list β with the sound running underneath. Playback lives inside that window, so it stops when the window closes, not when you get distracted.

- Phones pause more often than laptops. Mobile browsers commonly stop embedded video when the screen locks or you switch apps β that is the operating system's rule, not a fault here.

Searching in Korean gets you the real results
Korean songs are catalogued under several names at once: an official English title, a romanised spelling, and the Hangul original. The Hangul version is usually the one attached to the label's own upload, so it tends to surface the official channel rather than a fan re-upload or a sped-up edit.
Worth trying when a search disappoints:
- Paste the Hangul title copied from a lyrics page or from the chart on this page.
- Add a word for the version you want β MV, live, audio, lyrics β since Korean labels release many cuts of the same song.
- Search the group name plus the album when a title is too generic to be searchable on its own.
What the chart is, and what it isn't
The list on this page is a viewing chart, not a sales or streaming ranking, and it is not a Korean chart. A K-pop title appearing there tells you it is being watched heavily on YouTube, not that it is number one in Seoul. Korean domestic popularity is tracked by separate services with their own methods, so read the two side by side rather than treating one as proof of the other.
When a song refuses to play
Sometimes a video loads but shows an error or only a "Watch on YouTube" button. That is a decision made by the uploader or rights holder, not a bug in this page:
- Embedding disabled β some labels permit playback only on YouTube itself. Open it there, then come back.
- Region restrictions β availability differs by country, so a track that plays in Korea may not play at home, and the reverse.
- Ad blockers and strict privacy modes can break the player, because the official embed expects to load ads and cookies.
- Videos get deleted or set to private, so older search results can point at links that no longer exist.
Frequently asked questions
Will the music keep playing while I browse other pages?
Yes, as long as the player window or tab stays open. If you click a link inside that same tab, the page is replaced and the audio stops, so open other pages in a new tab instead.
Is listening this way legal for the artists?
Playback runs through YouTube's own embedded player, so ads, view counts and royalties are handled by YouTube exactly as they would be on the site itself. Nothing is copied, re-hosted or downloaded here.
Why does one song play fine and another shows an error?
Rights holders can switch off embedding for a video, or limit it to certain countries. In both cases the fix is to open that title directly on YouTube; there is nothing to change on this page.
Can I download the songs or save a playlist?
No. This is a search-and-play front end for the official player, with no download function and no account, so nothing is saved between visits.
